£75.00 deposit to secure your booking will be deducted from your final balance if you cancel your booking this is non refundable. The total hire charge must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event. No reduction it the quantity booked can be made less than 30 days prior to the event. Cancellation charges prior to event date: - 30 days or more 50%, 29-15 days 75%, 14 days or less 100% of order total

The goods will be delivered to the designated venue on the agreed date, set up for your event and collected by the agreed date. The standard delivery and collection is £30.00,  for Cambridge City centre and Colleges there is an additional charge of £15.00 (i.e.£45.00 in total). For venues outside of a 25 mile radius an additional charges will apply. If the hired goods are not packed in the bags provided, ready for collection a standard charge of £25.00 will be applied.

The Hirer is responsible for:

  1. Ensuring the chairs are available for sweet pea & me staff to cover them at the agreed time.
  2. Ordering the correct size chair covers for their venue.
  3. The goods for the duration of the hire period, which is from the delivery date to the confirmed
  4. Informing the venue that chair covers are being used

  5. Ensuring that the covers are packed in the bags provided ready for collection from the venue on the agreed date.

  6. Chair covers must not be used outside on grass or in a marquee on grass without flooring.

  7. Deposit Return

The loss/damage deposit of £50 will be issued within 30 days of the event date by cheque. Charges for missing or damaged items will be deducted from the deposit. Excess charges will be invoiced to the hirer. Staining is acceptable, however severe staining, candle wax, burn marks or torn fabric that renders the item unfit to rehire will be deemed as damage.

 Charges for damaged or missing items are as follows:

* Chair cover - polyester  £10.00 each

* Chair cover – Satin £12.00 each

* Sash £5.00 each

 Exclusion clause:

We will co-operate with you and the venue to seek to ensure delivery and fitting of the covers but we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control. Sweet pea and me is not responsible for any damage, injury or death caused to persons or property by the hired goods.

 Covers can be used for the Ceremony and Reception however, please check with your venue regarding this. If the venue are unable to move the chairs between rooms we may be able to move and reset our chair covers and sashes from your Ceremony room to your Reception room by prior arrangement. There is an additional fee for this service. We are unable to move chairs at any Venue.
